Happy Earth Day! I sent these felicitations yesterday, but I got the days mixed up. Besides, in our house it’s Earth Day every day. Still very cold here, with a gloomy start and a sunny finish. I didn’t get out for my walk; had too many errands and meetings bumping into one another—hence the indoor picture of our puzzle table, which is where I’ve been spending my evenings with Hubby. Talked to Mom this afternoon for fifteen minutes. She received a nice care package from her old church in Indy. It was a sweet gift, and the excitement in her voice was evident. She has about 10 more days of Covid lockdown, and we’re all counting the days.
Had a video conference with my writers group this evening, which is a great source of support for me. Six of us have been meeting for more than a year, each with great ideas for marketing ourselves as indie writers and encouraging one another in every creative aspect we each pursue. We miss meeting live, but as soon as everyone has been vaccinated, we’re planning an in-person.
