Pinch punch, first of the month. I got Hubby and my friend this time. Small victories count when your eyes are gooping up and you’re tired of limping around in a Frankenstein boot. It is Oscar the Grouch Day (among 15 other Days today), and I’m feeling a little grouchy. My only outings today were going to the mechanic to pick up my car, going to the eye doctor for some relief, and to the pharmacy for the relief ointment. I do love how people give you a wide berth when you’re zooming along on a knee scooter—on the sidewalk and in stores and doctors’ offices. The mechanic, however, had the audacity to say about my scooter, “I know this is probably not cool, but that looks like fun.” My response, “It sucks, dude.”
The contractor came to demo the upstairs tub and the other contractor’s Bobcats and various attachments are still sitting in my driveway and yard—along with a mountain of red clay—awaiting job completion. God love contractors, but some can be frustrating at times.
Looking forward to some proper outdoor tomorrow after work.
